Mobile App Live Pages Wins Runet Prize
The mobile app Live Pages, developed by the HSE School of Linguistics with Samsung and the Leo Tolstoy State Museum won the Runet Prize 2015 in the Mobile Runet category. The app offers users a new way to read Tolstoy’s novel War and Peace. The app is free to download from Google Play and Galaxy Apps.
The Runet Prize is a nationwide prize, awarded since 2004 for contributions to developing the Russian internet. The prize can be given to whole companies, government and social organisations or individuals who have made a significant contribution to developing Runet. The prize is organised by the Russian Association of Electronic Communications and the Coordination Centre for National Domains .ru/рф.

HSE Boasts the Best English Website among Russian Universities
HSE University has maintained its leading position in the ranking compiled by the Russian Council for International Affairs. The ranking evaluated the websites of 65 Russian universities. HSE was awarded 104 points out of 108, increasing its position by 11 points on last year. HSE's closest rival ranked a further 17 points behind, which is a larger gap than previously.
Live Pages App Gets New English Translation of ‘War and Peace’
An English-language translation of Lev Tolstoy's War and Peace is now available on the Live Pages mobile app. Students at HSE's Linguistics and Philology Schools were involved in developing this project.
Three New Novels on HSE’s Living Pages Project
Three new novels are now available on the Living Pages app library: Dead Souls by Nikolai Gogol, The Captain's Daughter by Alexander Pushkin, and The Twelve Chairs by Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov. The app was developed by the HSE School of Linguistics together with Samsung and experts from Tolstoy Digital group.

Russian Presidential grants for first year BA students at Russian universities have been awarded for the first time for the 2015/2016 academic year. HSE students were among the top recipients.

FIFA President Awarded HSE Sports Management Graduates
Graduates of the joint FIFA/CIES – HSE programme in Sports Management have won the FIFA/CIES Network Prize for 2016 for their 360º Academy project. The winners were awarded their prize by Gianni Infantino.
