Adila Ulfia Maula Tontowi is a third-year student of the Bachelor’s in Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication. After moving from her hometown in Indonesia to France for a year, she decided to broaden her horizons even further and study at HSE University in Moscow. HSE Winter School on Analytics and Data Science Brings Together Specialists in Different Fields
In early February, the HSE Cultural Centre hosted ‘IT Session: Immersion in the Data World’, a winter school on analytics and data science organised by the Continuing Education Centre of the Faculty of Computer Science. More than four hundred participants attended lectures by speakers from Yandex, T-Bank, MTS, Okko, Kuper, Avito, Bank of Russia, Beeline, as well as FCS experts. The event gathered both early-career analysts and students, as well as experts seeking to better understand how analytics and data science can be applied in various industries.

‘Wonderful’ Winter Ball Held at HSE University in Perm
On February 8, the most long-awaited event of the winter—the HSE Winter Ball—took place at the Triumph Private Philharmonic in Perm. For several months, the participants rehearsed a variety of dances, prepared gorgeous outfits, and created a charming masquerade fairy tale featuring lace masks, swirling ball gowns, waltzes, mazurkas, and more.
